Day 1:

• Enjoy free time, to relax or explore until time to check-in to Quality Inn Boardwalk 1601 Atlantic Ave., Ocean City, MD 21842. Enjoy a welcome reception at the hotel prior to departing for an included Welcome dinner (Harrison’s Harborwatch Restaurant, menu TBD).

Day 2:

• Enjoy breakfast, then meet your guide for a tour of Assateague Island where you will see many ponies wandering through the pine forest, salt marshes, and beaches. Assateague is also a prime habitat for thousands of waterfowl and birds. Legend has it that the ponies arrived on Assateague Island when a Spanish galleon cargo ship with horses sank off the coast and the horses swam to shore. End your tour at Ocean City’s Boardwalk where you can enjoy lunch on your own. The rest of the afternoon is at your leisure. Dinner is included this evening (Coral Reef Restaurant, menu TBD) Return to hotel after dinner.

Day 3:

• After breakfast, spend the day exploring Ocean City’s Sunfest one of the largest outdoor festivals in the region, attracting tens of thousands of attendees each year for a four-day arts, crafts, music, and food fest. Local and national artisans from all over the country sell handmade items at the annual event. Or you may choose to relax under the sun on the beach or at the pool. Sunfest gates open at 10:00 AM. Enjoy the whole day exploring. Dinner on your own this evening.

Day 4:

• Following included breakfast, you will check out of your hotel and prepare to head home.
