CHERRY BLOSSOMS OR SMITHSONIAN
Washington, D.C.
We are heading to our nation’s Capital, Washington, D.C. for the Cherry Blossom Festival. You can be dropped off at the Tidal Basin and stroll at your leisure taking in the beautiful sights of the Cherry Blossoms. The festival commemorates the 1912 gift of 3,000 cherry trees from Mayor Yukio Ozaki of Tokyo to the city of Washington D.C. Or maybe you want to take in some history and be dropped off at one of the amazing Smithsonian Museums. Two great options to choose from for a fun day in Washington, D.C. or if you don’t mind the approximate mile walk you can do both. Please dress appropriately for the weather and where you will be spending the day.
